In the car on the way home with Oreo
Up close of Oreo
Jaina in heaven...Now if you were out in your front yard tonight you will have already met the little darling (Jaina paraded him around for all too see), but for those of you who live farther away, I'll share.
Jaina, Jaina, Jaina. Where do I start? This little girl has a heart the size of Texas when it comes to anything with fur. On the way home from her cousin's house after a sleep-over she burst into tears. "Mom, it has been years since I rode a horse. (sob) I wish we lived on a farm and had a horse. (sob) Mom, I just love little kittens and puppies...(sob, sob, sob)" The tears were flowing and we were passing Wal-mart so I decided to stop by the spot where everyone takes their puppies to sell. I told her that we were just going to look and that was all, we would not be leaving with a dog. She was thrilled. We stopped and held some lab puppies, one pug and a long-haired weiner dog. So cute! I was home-free. Jaina was so happy, the tears were gone and we were on our way back to the car. Then she spied a round enclosure that was housing lots of small furry things. I couldn't see what they were until we got closer. They were bunnies. Lots and lots of cute little bunnies! It wasn't long before she used my words against me as she held Oreo. "Mom, look this bunny loves me! He feels so safe with me! Can I PLEASE have this bunny?" I must have given her the look because she quickly said, "You said no puppies, but you didn't say no bunnies." Now we have a bunny....
Here are the pictures-

Oreo is very cute. Your good I wouldn't even go by the puppies. I avoid that area at all cost. Anyway enjoy your new addition. BTW Sammy would like to eat Oreo. We discovered this last night.
so cute... Sydnee my animal lover that thinks she is a dog. has been begging me and begging me for a bunny... let me know how the up keep is if it is not to bad maybe I will get her one. They are so cute and from what I remember low maintnance... how ever you spell that word
Please watch out for the bunny chewing electrical cords! We found that out the hard (painful) way many years ago when we had a bunny.
Sure is a cutie!
I think Savannah would love to be a member of your family! I don't get Sophie! She loves a dog that can knock her around, but screams in terror at the first sight of a cute bunny??? Obviously my sweet little turkey needs psychiatric help. She takes after her dad.
Hello from NC! It was so fun to get a comment from you -- I am so glad that you have a blog and I can check in with you and your family. I am afraid that our little girl already gets what she wants with just a look and a smile and sometimes a pitiful little cry :) Kids are the best!! I hope all is well -- we sure miss our old neighborhood!
That is too funny....we now have rabbits aswell. I told Josh I need to have you make us a sign that says "welcome to painter farms"
