Slackerville...

I guess I've fallen in line. It was not a place I thought I would take so suddenly or easily. I've been a "blog slacker..."

I have been noticing that over the last almost two months, most of the blogs I follow remain untouched. Why? Facebook? Life? Spring? Who knows, all I know is that I condemned you all to slackerville.

Now I am an unhappy resident of slackerville. It's not that we haven't done anything blog-worthy, in fact we do fun and exciting (OK, maybe exciting is a little bit of an exaggeration) all the time - I just don't sit down long enough to get it documented.

Today we are going to the pool. A fun summer tradition my best friend Melissa and I have been doing for the last couple of years. We pack up what seems like the entire house (swimsuits, noodles, floaty devices, diving rings, snacks, drinks, towels, sunscreen, shampoo, goggles, masks, snorkles, more snacks, etc) and journey out to Riverton where my mother-in-law has a pool in their condo community. Melissa and I sit poolside and solve the problem's of the world, all the while keeping our kids from drowning. It works for us.

So, what does this come down to? "I, pledge to do a better job at keeping my blog updated."

There I said it! Now, do me a favor - if you've been spending more than 2 weeks at a time in slackerville - shape up! I am interested in your lives!
