Our 10th Anniversary and the Tulip Festival at Thanksgiving Point

Thanksgiving Point has always held a special place in our hearts

because that is where James and I were married,

there were tulips everywhere!

10 years ago we vowed to make it through the good times and the bad.

Now 10 years later I can honestly say that the good has FAR

outweighed the bad.

We have 3 beautiful kids and a love for each other that has and will

continue to stand the test of time.

At the end of April, each year we go back to Thanksgiving Point to take

in the incredible scenery and remember what brought us there

in the first place.

It is also where we took Jaina right after we left the doctor's office

when he told us that we were expecting triplets!

We needed somewhere to let the info we'd just been given, sink in and

Thanksgiving Point was the most peaceful place I could imagine.

Tulips are and have always been my favorite flowers. Maybe it is because

their season is so short, or maybe it is because they are the the first

flowers brave enough to peek through the cold dirt in the spring, letting us

all know that we made it through another Utah winter!

If you have not had a chance to go, we highly recommend it!

Even after the tulips have all gone, it is still spectacular.

Our kids LOVE taking a map and trying to find all of the different

gardens. Their favorite is the "Secret Garden."

I wish my camera could capture the beauty that is there,

but it can't. You truly do have to see it to believe it.

Thanks Bunny, for the 10 best years of my life. I love you

and I love our life. You are my soul mate. I cherish you

in ways you can't imagine. Thanks for a wonderfully amazing

weekend of just us.
