She has 4 healthy puppies, two boys and two girls. They are all so rollie-pollie! She is doing exactly what she is suppose to and after about 5 hours of labor was able to settle in to her new role as Mom.
I have to admit...I miss my very most favorite "cling-on." She spends her nights with the puppies, instead of me - but I am adjusting. She lets me know every morning how much I was missed. If you know anything about Meira, you know what huge steps these are.
Thanks Sharra for your willingness to help - I am sorry that you had to throw up a little bit! I owe you a fancy dinner at playland. Thanks for hanging out with me through a very anxious time. I know it was comforting to Meira and I! The puppies were born on Luke and Ryan's birthday, which made all of the plans we had difficult. But Sharra willingly stepped up and babysat the new arrivals and Meira so we could have a party and deliver birthday treats to school. I don't know what I would have done without all of your help.
Aren't they shiny!
They are never without LOTS and LOTS of attention!
Look at that face!
They already have puppy breath!

Wow!
they are cute little things!
It sounds like we should be very proud of Miera! My mom always says that girl dogs become better dogs after they have puppies.
So there was 1 more in there. I am so glad everything went great!
Oh, I am soooooooooo proud of Meira! I absolutely LOVE how she's in love with you. What a good girl! Those are some beautiful puppies. I hope you don't mind that we are constantly coming over to see them.:)
