Luke and Ryan are 6 years old

To me, one of life's most perplexing situations is time. Where does it go? Why do the days seem so long, while the years fly by? I've heard from a very reliable source that the older you get the faster time goes. I don't want time to go by so fast. How do I stop it - or at the very least, slow it down.

I enjoy, I mean, truly enjoy my kids. Everyday, I am thankful that they are mine. I am thankful for the time, love and energy I've invested in them, because it is the most rewarding thing I have ever done. With that said, they are growing up too fast.

Six years ago, Luke and Ryan were being helped by machines to breathe. They were fitting into James' motor helmet. They were keeping me up ALL NIGHT LONG. How I wish I could go back and try to enjoy those times more. I wouldn't want to stay long, but so much of it is a blur.

Tonight we celebrated with family. It was great. Here are some pictures of our evening at the "pig's trough."

YEA!!! Which one of those handsome boys is going to be betrothed to Savannah? I'll give you your choice. Savannah adores BOTH of them, but she kind of likes Ryan a little bit more "because he has brown hair." And oh, my gosh... those are SERIOUSLY cute cakes. I need to send Palmer over there to be learned how to make em!!!

Wasn't it just yesterday that we were pregnant and I was hating you because you were prego with twins and smaller than me? Glad the boys had a fun b-day!
Thanks for the help the other day and letting me see those cute puppies...what was the final count?
