Off Track Adventures & Random Stuff!

The kids have just spent the last 3 weeks off track. My good friend Melissa and I made sure we got out of the house and took the kids to as many fun places as we could so that their off track time was not spent milling around the house...bored! We've made the most of our Thanksgiving Point memberships and went to the Gardens a few times, Farm Country and the Children's Discovery Gardens. We also spent a day at This is the Place Heritage Park. The kids LOVED it! With the weather being so rainy we only got to the pool a few times - but no doubt...the sun will be out soon enough!
Here are some pictures of our adventures! Thanks Melissa for always being
willing to pack a lunch and drag our clan out and about!

Quilting with the Pioneers at Heritage Park
Luke - quilting
Ryan - quilting
Jaina - quilting. I had to drag them out of there!

I took the kids to visit one of Meira's puppies. She has a great home
and is growing so fast! Here are the before and after pictures
of Tinker...(her new name is Harlee-Tinker)

A short 3 months later! Tinker has grown!

A bowl of strawberries from our strawberry patch.
It's been growing for 5 years now...and this is the
most we've ever had!
I'd say all in all they had a fun time off track. I sure enjoyed having them home
and look forward to making more memories in July!
I love you guys!

What great pictures and fun adventures!! Preschool is out for Z and I am trying to figure out what to do with him all summer -- I think you have the best approach :)
And by the way the Daddy's Poem made me cry!

tell more more about your thanksgiving point memberships sounds like fun!
What a great time you must have had. and yet your kids still had time to play outside between all those rain storms

Tinker is GIANORMOUS! Ah, it REALLY makes me wish we would've kept one of those cute little pups.

That picture of Jaina and Paige on the train should be blown up and hung on the wall. Soooooo adorable!
