I've been putting off my entry about Jaina's birthday - because I don't know how to put into words, the love I have for her. Eight years ago my life was blessed with the most precious baby I could ever have hoped for. She turned my world upside down. She fills my heart with such love that I often find myself aching at the idea that she is growing up so fast and I can't slow it down.
Jaina is the sweetest, most loving, compassionate, sensitive, caring, wisdom-ous and loyal little person I've ever met. She loves and cares deeper than I ever knew a child could. She loves animals. No, wait, she is passionate about animals - and lives to make them feel loved. She said that she feels like she was born in the wrong body, and the right body would be that of a dog. She says she wants to live on a farm when she grows up and rescue animals.
I am so proud of her...so unbelievably proud of her. Jaina, you are the little girl of my dreams - every single wonderful moment I spend with you makes me a better person. Someday when you look into the eyes of your own little girl you will understand just how deeply you have touched me. Until then, just know that when I say I love you, it doesn't even scratch the surface of how much you mean to me.
